Kiwi has a soft tropical taste and since our kiwi is harvested ripe the tartness is very mild and agreeable. Kiwi sorbet, frappe, ice cream, and frozen yogurt are great places to start. Kiwi meringues, cobblers, and pies are also delicious. Use it in the recipe or as a topping. Try a cucumber kiwi smoothie. For decorative saucing of crepes and other desserts, kiwi provides a sweet pucker and tropical taste with a subdued tangy kick. Sprinkle on fruit salad, make a sauce for plating around lamb or if you’re feeling truly adventurous add it to seafood marinades.
Beneficial for the skin
Kiwi powder provides the skin with several benefits. For example, the antioxidant properties and vitamin C help repair regular wear and tear as well as oxidative damage on the skin. You can create a homemade kiwi mask or add a scoop of it to your creams. When applied it can help with pigmentation and some people say it helps even the skin tone. Do you have open pores? Mix some kiwi powder with water to create a clay-like consistency. Then apply it to the face for 15 minutes and wash it off. It’ll help tighten up the skin and close the pores. Both the fruit and kiwi powder help impart an instant glow to the skin thanks to the amount of vitamin C it contains.
